Annual fee based on the assets we manage

Households that ask us to manage their portfolios pay a single annual advisory fee, billed quarterly and calculated on the balance we oversee. The rate decreases as the portfolio grows, and clients on this arrangement receive ongoing financial planning at no additional charge.

Fund expenses and custodian trading costs are charged separately by those providers and are disclosed to you before any account is opened.

Common Questions

Is the first meeting charged?

No. The introductory conversation is complimentary and is used to determine whether our services match what you are looking for. There is no obligation to continue afterward.

Is there a minimum portfolio size?

There is no minimum. The hourly and flat fee options exist precisely so that households who do not want investment management can still receive professional advice.

Can the flat plan fee change?

The quoted plan fee begins at the figure shown and rises only when the situation involves business ownership, equity compensation, or similar complexity. Any adjustment is agreed in writing before work begins.

How are fees collected?

Planning fees are invoiced directly and may be paid by check or electronic transfer. Investment advisory fees are calculated quarterly and deducted from the managed account.

May I change or end an ongoing arrangement?

Yes. The monthly retainer may be adjusted or discontinued at any time with written notice. There are no cancellation charges and no long term contracts.

What does fee only actually mean?

It means our compensation comes entirely from the fees our clients pay us. We accept no commissions, no product sales income, and no payments from third parties for referring business to them.

Ready to discuss your own situation?

You do not need to know which package is right for you. Start with a complimentary conversation and we will help determine the most appropriate approach for your financial needs.
